I’ve been praying about it, and thinking things through and I believe I’ll be going to Haiti again in August or September. I don’t have any details yet, but I am planning on going for 2 weeks this time. (I would love to go for longer, but I need to keep my job and that’s a long time to take off.)
I am going to do a “Teleseminar” on Sunday the 6th of June at 6:00 pm (Mountain time). It’s free of course, and I’ll be answering questions (your questions too) about my trip to Haiti. If you’ve never been to a teleseminar, it’s easy - you just call the number, which is 218-486-3696 and use Conference ID: 336965# and you’ll connect right in. The only draw back is that it will cost you long distance, so if you don’t have reasonable long distance… Most people have pretty good long distance, and if you have a cell phone with free weekends, that would work too. The other thing you can do is tune in on the web with your headphones/speakers.

Hey Mary thanks for the comment! That is neat that you get to go again! What part of Haiti were you in or are going to be in? I loved being there so much & think it would be fun to go back. The kids were my favorite & i really loved being down there. 2 weeks was not enough time though! It would be fun to chat. Anyway you have an awesome weeek!

Well, It’s still a little in the air, but I’m really praying and hoping for it to come together. I was in Mirebalais - up the mountain about 2.5 hours from Port-au-Prince. I worked at Haiti Children’s Home, it’s run by Patricia Smith (her web site is http://www.haitichildren.net) anyway, it was just me and a friend who went together, she stayed an extra month and is home now. My brother and I are planning to go in August, and we want to stay 2 weeks, but do a lot. Probably stay a week at Blue Ridge and a Week at HCH. Where were you at? I’d love to hear more about your time over there!

Hello Mary! It’s great to hear you have a heart for Haiti. We hope to be moving over there the last week of July or the first week of August.
That is exciting that you, your brother & a friend will be going to Haiti in August! As you know, you can do a lot in 2 weeks! May God bless your preparation for this trip.
Keep in touch & maybe we can meet up in Haiti. You will be welcome at our place, we will be in Port Au Prince. We have not met the Ryle family but hope to if they are still living over there.
