Adoption from Haiti usually takes one and a half to two years from the time you have spoken for the child to the time passports are abtained. You must first submit an international Home study to be reviewed, if you are adopting from Haiti Children’s Home, the cost is $7,000 per child including all of the paper work. You will pay $3,500 when you start the proccess so that they will be able to start paper work, and then the other $3,500 is paid toward the end. Haiti Children’s Home is a Christian orginization and will only consider adoptions to Christian parents. It is harder to get girls then it is boys because they are high demand, if you want a little girl, put your word in so that when she is born and is brought to the home you can start the adoption right away.
